Lining Up Spiritually
As Pastor Richard Ware shows us from Romans 7:15 - 25, there is a battle going on in all of us between our flesh and our spirit. The one we feed is the one that dominates. As the Church, our aim must not be at the flesh of the unbeliever, but at their soul. We must learn to minister to the soul and not the flesh. In this Installation Service of Pastor Chris Cain, we also hear an exhortation from Wade Urban and are ministered to in song by Stacey Ware.

The Priority of Purity – Part 1
One of the most misunderstood principles in the Gospel is holiness. Holiness is not legalism, which makes the Gospel a list of "rights" and "wrongs" and "goodness will save you." Holiness is the character of God. As Pastor Chris shows from Hebrews 12:14 - 17 and Galatians 5:16 - 25,  we will only live a successful Christian life and keep our flesh in check if we allow Holy Spirit to set our course.

    The Toxicity of Self-Pity
Our experiences in life are about 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we react to them. And the most toxic of all reactions is self-pity because it skews our perception so that we do not even realize we are mistaken as to the actual facts. Referencing Numbers 11:1 - 6, Pastor Chris gives us four thoughts to avoid complaining and to stop self-pity before it begins.

How to Keep Victory In Your Life
A successful Christian life is not just believing the right stuff, but living the right stuff. It is getting your head, heart, and hands working together. And, as Pastor Chris exhorts from Ephesians 5:1 - 20 and Matthew 25:1 - 10,  we need regular spiritual oil changes and maintenance. Maintaining victory in our life is going to be about our "oil" level.

    The Finished Work of Jesus
In this powerful message, Wade and Connie Urban show us what we have as a result of the finished work of Jesus Christ. Connie exhorts us with Psalm 103:2, 3 to not forget His benefits. And Wade reminds us that Jesus became sin and the curse for us so that we are redeemed. He also gives five characteristics of a pioneer anointing.

    Stoke the Fire
Matthew 28:19 - 20 gives us our marching orders. As Pablo Figueroa gives his testimony, he reminds us that to be effective with those orders, we need to keep the fire of God stoked in our lives so that we do not lose our boldness in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    Who Are You Really
How do you finish the statement, regarding yourself, "I am..."? Who we are has nothing to do with what we do. But rather, our doing flows from our being, our identity. As Wade Urban shows us from Numbers 13:27 - 33, having a "grasshopper" identity can keep us from God's promises. To live as we were created to live, we must keep our focus on Jesus and get our identity from Him.

    Live the Standard
We tend to forget that we serve a just and holy God. All believers have a standard to live a holy life by the power of Holy Spirit. As Pastor Anthony exhorts us from 1 Peter 1:3 - 16,  we are representatives of Jesus 24/7. But, it is not about perfection; it is about being humble and repentant before the Lord.

    Set Into Motion
What is God setting into motion today? As Connie Urban shows us from the life of Rahab, God is always setting things into motion. And we can be a part of what He is doing through our obedience and our hope placed in His promises. Joshua 2:9 - 11; Romans 5:3 - 5; Hebrews 11:31; Psalm 119:116

Keep Your Head On A Swivel
As believers, our walk with Jesus cannot just have a once-a-week check-up. We must stay alert and be aware of our enemy's methods. Referencing Ephesians 6:10 & 11, Pastor Anthony highlights that we are made strong only in God's might and he shows several ways by which that is accomplished.

    First Love
In this message, Wade Urban references Revelation 2:1 - 7 and exhorts us to remember who we are, to remember our first love. Without first love, all that is left is dead orthodoxy. And we must also remember that we do not live FOR God; we live FROM Him.

    Shine…You Be the Light!
In her powerful testimony, Evelyn Kouns reminds us to shine and be the light that Matthew 5:14 - 16 references. She speaks candidly about the depths of her struggles and how encountering the love of Jesus literally saved her life and set her on the path to freedom from condemnation and internal turmoil.

    Lessons From Lepers
In the four lepers we encounter in 2 Kings 7,  we see a picture of our lives in relation to the Gospel. In this message, Pastor Chris points out these similarities and emphasizes our need to share the blessing.

    Just In Case
As a church, our focus must remain on the message of the Gospel and repentance, no matter who fills the pulpit or comes and goes in leadership. Jesus is the focus, not a person or a program. As Pastor Chris points out, this was Paul's admonition to the Ephesian church in Acts 20:17 - 35. As Paul exhorted that church so many years ago, we have the same goal--to not compromise that message that says you have to have a change of life, a change of direction--you have to have Jesus.

    Hugging a Porcupine
We ought to thank God for the difficult persons in our lives because, if nothing else, they show us what we don't want to be. In this message, Pastor Chris references 2 Timothy 2:20 - 26 and gives us three points for dealing with the difficult people in our lives, the porcupines in our lives.

    Choose Life
There is a pervasive pawl of death that hangs over America. Although suicide is not a new concept, it is a weapon the enemy is seemingly using more aggressively. God wants us to choose life, not death. As long as we have breath, God has a purpose for our life. In this timely and meaningful message, Pastor Chris encourages us from Deuteronomy 30 to choose life and points to two practical ways to resist the lies from the enemy.

    Fan the Flame
As Dr. E. Stanley Jones put it, "The human spirit fails unless the Holy Spirit fills." All of us were made for passion. We need to have purpose, but we also need passion, a fire that burns on the inside of us. We need to have such a flame burning in our heart that, come what may, Satan cannot extinguish it. Be encouraged with this message as Pastor Chris preaches from 2 Timothy 1:3 - 9.

    Worship and Renewal
When we gather together as a church, worship is not just a preliminary to the "real" service. It is critical because it opens something in us that makes us ready for what God has to say to us that will bring the renewal that we all need. We must not limit, in our gatherings, that sense of inviting in the Presence of God. As Pastor Chris starts with Psalm 100 as the backdrop, he reminds us that we must have an appetite for renewal, revival, and restoration.

How To Get from Here To Heaven
When it comes to Heaven, reservations are required. In this message, Evangelist Mike Livengood walks us down the Roman Road and discusses our need for salvation and our need to share this message with those around us. He references Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8 and Romans 10:9, 10, 13.

    Outreach and Ministry
The greatest part of what we hope to do as a church cannot just be inward focused. We have to be outward focused. We need to act like our community is our "Canaan" and possess the land, win it for Christ. As Pastor Chris poignantly points out from John 4:1 - 35,  we cannot lose sight of the fields that are white and ready for harvest and our hearts must be about reaching out to the community.
