What do you do when you don’t know what to do? In this message, Chris shows us three things from the account of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:1 – 26 that we can use in those time when our situation seems overwhelming.

In our continuation of the study of fasting, Chris references Matthew 6:1 – 21. He reminds us that we shouldn’t be surprised that when we determine to press into God, we encounter opposition. How should we react to that opposition? We must employ our three main weapons of faith–the Word of God, the Name of Jesus, and the blood of the Lamb–through confession, fasting, and prayer.

One of the greatest resources, but most neglected, of all spiritual disciplines is fasting. Jesus spoke about the three secret aspects of a disciple’s life. He said, “WHEN you give…WHEN you pray…WHEN you fast.” Not IF. As we look at Matthew 17:14 – 21, Chris reminds us of the power available through the discipline of fasting and encourages us to press in for “10 Days to Triumph” leading up to our revival services.

As Christians, we want our lives to revolve around what Jesus did and how He did it. He is our prototype. In this message, Chris looks at the four ingredients to Jesus’ ministry, found in Mark 1:15, that we would do well to emulate.

Timing is everything in the Kingdom of God, as we see from Mark 1:14, the launch of Jesus’ ministry, and from Galatians 4:4. Chris encourages us to not take matters into our own hands but to “bloom where we are planted” while waiting for God’s next direction for us.

In his continuation of the “Fearless” series, Chris looks at Jesus’ temptation in Mark 1:12 – 13. He encourages us that the secret to finding our strength in God is to realize the limitations within ourselves and be honest about them. We must recognize that we all have the capacity to be the worst of the worst and that wrong is not 180° away from right; it is only 1° away. We also learn of a great tool to help curb temptation: accountability.

In the fourth message of the “Fearless” series, Chris looks at the Protest Movement, led by John the Baptist, referencing Mark 1:6 – 8. He reminds us that almost always when God begins to move, He does things out of the box. Chris notes three ideas from this movement that we need to utilize in the Church today.

In this third part of the “Fearless” series, Chris looks at the revival in the desert recorded in Mark 1:4 – 5. He shows that even in the desert, God’s Presence is real.

What is our mission? We all have a purpose and a calling, a “Mission: Possible”. We need to be about that purpose and calling and allow God to work in us and through us to make Jesus known. Chris looks at the life of John the Baptist as our example, in Mark 1:2, 3.

Prayer is a communication, not TO God, but WITH God. Prayer needs to be our first choice, not our last resort. In this message, we walk through James 5:13 – 20, learning six aspects of prayer and three principles of prayers that avail.
