    Forgetting, Reaching, Pressing
Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose? Many people are searching for answers to these questions. We can find the answers only in Jesus Christ. He tells us who we are, why we are here and what our purpose is. Referencing Philippians 3:7 - 15, Chris shows us how to practically accomplish finding our identity and living purposefully.

    Transitions
Only one thing is certain in life--there will be change. How we handle that change will say a lot about us. Our path does not always follow a straight route. But, if we keep our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, we can navigate the detours and bring glory to God in the midst of the transitions. In this message, Chris shares some ideas about navigating the transitions of life, using Acts 15:36 - 16:9 as an example.

    Dealing with Jezebel
There is an idea, an attitude, that, when it gets loose, can hinder or even halt a move of God. It is not always evident and always has an agenda. Its ultimate desire is to control, to dominate and to dictate. This attitude is serious about winning, no matter the cost and no matter who gets hurt in the process. Referencing 1 Kings 21:1 - 18 and Revelation 2:18 - 20, Chris talks about this deadly attitude and how we can deal with it.

    The Devices of Darkness
There is a very real enemy that we are up against. We are in a conflict for the very existence of our lives and the lives of those around us. It is important for us to know who our enemy is, how he works and how to defeat him. Referencing Zechariah 3:1 - 5 and Revelation 12:7 - 11, Chris shows the four ways in which Satan uses accusations in his tactic to derail believers.

    The Will of God
God desires to bless us. And as our hearts are set on Him and His ways, He allows for some latitude in making decisions. There are even times when God will ask us what we desire. In this message, Chris looks at Jeremiah 29:11 - 13 to give some clarification to understanding the will of God. The will of God, according to Romans 8:28, is God Himself wanting to work together for good everything that happens in our lives.

    The Hope for America
What's the answer for our nation, or any nation for that matter? Is it more or less government? Better government? Is it in the local, state or federal leadership? The answer for every nation is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14. Chris unpacks this "you will, I will" verse and highlights the three things that we need to do to see an American revival--participate, pray and be penitent.

    More
God wants to take us to places we've not yet been. One of the greatest enemies in the church is complacency--getting to some level of satisfaction where you lose your appetite for God. In this message, Chris shows us three Biblical paradigms of more--more victory in 2 Kings 13:14 - 25; more anointing in 2 Kings 2:1 - 14; and more boldness in Acts 4:23 - 31. We are not just to be purpose-driven people, but also passion-driven people, believing for the more of God.

    Embracing Excellence 5
As we wrap up Point 1 in the "Ways To a Better Life" series, Chris references Romans 12:11 to speak about the need for motivation as we pursue excellence. All successful people have learned the art of self-motivation through the power of Holy Spirit. We have to learn to motivate ourselves and not rely on other people to keep prodding us on. We also need to stay modern, not falling into the trap of "we've never done it that way before." And, finally, we need to keep the momentum and not hinder what God is doing.

    Made, Unmade, Remade
There is much spiritual confusion today. Many think they can make up their own spirituality and put God's Name on it and then He will bless it. As Chris shows us in Judges 17:1 - 13, people can follow a "scrapple" religion--a little bit of this 'ism' and a little bit of that 'ism' and think they are ok. But self-made religion cannot save or redeem anyone. We need God to take the self-made, the man-made and the unmade person and remake them in His power and in His Spirit.
